BATMAP PRIVACY POLICY
Batmap has developed a Geographic Browser (Intelligent Guide) that
allows the users to access, using various technologies, interactive
maps with multiple possibilities (location of specific points of
interest, definition of itineraries), associated to original contents
(Batguide), which include itineraries, recommendations and services,
with an events programme.
The users' access to certain services or contents may be subject
to specific conditions in respect of Data Protection, on which they
will receive information when completing the pertinent registration
form.
BATMAP reserves the right to modify its Data Protection Policy
and may likewise make the relevant changes required by the legislation
applicable at any given time or by the provision of the services.
Any modification will be published on the BATMAP site, taking all
the measures needed to make it known to the users.
a) Protection in relation to data provided by the users
Under the provisions of current Personal Data Protection legislation
(Organic Law 15/99 dated 13 December on the Protection of Personal
Data, EC Directive 95/46 of 24 October, 1995 and the implementing
legislation), data provided by users will be included in an automated
file the owner of which its BATMAP, S.A., which has its registered
office in Tres Cantos (Madrid), Avda. de los Encuartes, 21, postcode
28760 and holds tax identification code A-82675208.
The user must complete all the fields of the forms included on
the site in order for BATMAP to be able to provide the service/s
offered.
BATMAP, or any other entity that substitutes it in providing the
services, shall be responsible for the automated files containing
the personal data collected.
BATMAP gathers the personal data of the users and submits them
to automated processing in order to manage the service provision
it offers, evaluate the CLIENT's interests on a statistical basis,
perform market research studies, send warning messages if the user
has so requested and identify an e-mail address at which to provide
the user with a reply or customised information on the services
provided by BATMAP.
Pursuant to the provisions of the applicable legislation, the proprietors
of personal data (the persons to which they refer) may use the rights
of access, rectification, cancellation and objection in relation
to the personal data processed by means of:

BATMAP is not liable for any use that third parties may make of
the data if the user publishes his data in places that are accessible
to the general public (chats, forums, debates, advertisements, etc.).
b) Assignment of data
The information on the user will under no circumstances be delivered,
sold or assigned to external organisations or companies for ends
other than those stated in the above paragraph without the prior
express consent of the owner or user.
BATMAP may assign the data provided by the user to any group company,
company held fully or partially by BATMAP or company that substitutes
it in providing the service, provided that the data are used for
the purpose stated in the present document.
c) Security of the personal data
BATMAP has adopted all the technical and organisational measures
needed to guarantee the security measures required under current
legislation, avoiding the alteration or loss of personal data or
unauthorised access thereto.
d) Data on minors
BATMAP undertakes not to request personal data for the use of services
aimed especially at minors. In the event that it were necessary
to obtain such data, BATMAP would request the prior written consent
of the parents or guardians.
e) Other information unrelated to personal data
Cookies are a set of characters stored in the hard disk or in the
temporary memory of the user's computer when he/she accesses the
pages of certain websites. BATMAP may use cookies to make the visits
easier for the users, depending on the latter's preferences. In
no case will the information obtained through the use of cookies
be associated with or linked to personal data. Notwithstanding,
the user has the possibility of configuring his/her browser in such
a way that he/she is advised on screen of the receipt of cookies
and may prevent the installation thereof.
